I believe Kamala Harris is a competent VP and would be a good candidate for President. She is a good speaker and loves her country. I love that she supports her President, even now.

Biden most likely will not be healthy enough to finish his second presidential term if reelected. And Vice President Kamala Harris would succeed him and probably would be the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee in 2028. Although there are several prominent Democrats who already are salivating at the prospect of a run that year. Donald Trump’s eventual pick for his running mate is equally interesting for the reason you explained. And that person also will be waiting on the sidelines for 2028. Some VPs in recent years have been given potentially important jobs to keep them busy and to let others evaluate their qualities as a possible presidential nominee. I frankly don’t if we have a good sense of Ms. Harris despite some criticism in some quarters of her performance to date. As for the Republicans, the current speculation is more interesting at the moment because we don’t know who it will be.
